'I get so bored waiting for nickel processing in SE1 that I am tempted to dump half of everything that I mine. I know that I could mine less.'

Refinery trade stations would exchange your ore for ingots and take a percentage cut.

The cut In SE1 terms:

Iron 10%

Silver and Gold 15%

Platinum and Uranium 20%

Magnesium 30%

Cobalt 40%

Nickel 50%

Refineries would also sell ingots for credits.

SE2 will hopefully have differences in available resources, and processing times, so the cut percentages would differ to reflect chore factor.

Fuel Refineries would be a separate entity.

I do not think that stone would be accepted at an ore refinery.
