Balloon Deployer

A balloon deployer that requires Hydrogen or Oxygen to inflate, and possibly lift things if it fills up with Hydrogen. Will cushion grids from freefalls and be an airbag for collisions without destruction of grids. Could be eventually adapted for making boats float. If it's filled with Hydrogen, it explodes after being popped.
If possible, it could be a deployable pressurized room with the oxygen setting, with nothing but walls and a hatch.

This reminds me of my engineering teacher from when I was at school, he worked on the inflatable project for cushioning the air drop of small tanks in the 1940s.
