Disable Turret AI

I think turrets should aim together with the Target-based Grid Control cursor. This would make every space battle so much more strategic. Maybe even make those weapon grid actions for the action bar select 1 type of turret weapon at a time to target alongside the Target-based Grid Control and have the others on standby at that time, where you can switch the type of turret to aim with at a time. Maybe only Point Defense turrets should have AI and only for projectiles or small ships. Fully AI targeting turrets kind of make the battle gameplay unresponsive and not very skill-based. Games like Dreadnought also had this aiming system and I think it worked really well to encourage skill-based matchups and engaging player battles. Maybe it can be a setting in the world settings or maybe a block is required to enable AI on turrets. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Would be much more fun if you would have control over your ship weapons yourself and actively pick targets instead of just having to fly close to something.

Dreadnought was certainly a lot of fun (when I wasn't being blinded by e-war spam), but a lot of SE players rely on turret's auto-aim to defend from offline/out of seat attacks, and to compensate for both poor aim and lack of available gunnery crew. This would make for a cool turret setting for people that want to control their guns this way, but the solos, high-ping players, and everyone not able to sit online 24/7 (to say nothing of drones and npcs) need auto-aiming turrets.

Instead of removing AI turret, keep both but also add the ability to shoot all turrets manually on a cursor.
