Ship roll is now jerky and over powered
I've logged in after the new vs 1.2 update and the with the controls change the ship roll is waaaaaay crazy too strong. I'm flying the default miner and literally with the lightest and fastest tap the ship rolls almost close to 45 degrees! I'm trying to get the ship to land level with a ship I'm building, and it won't line up.
Even thrusting down against the surface won't align the ship it will rotate a little but as soon as I stop thrusting it rolls right back. Please revisit the ship controls dynamic. Maybe instead of trying to find medians, perhaps do it like how you had the audio in SE1. Have a control option for Arcade or Realistic,
Arcade: As it is now with more over powered input for rotation and movement.
Realistic: More finessed and granular controls for 0G flight. Start/stop take equal time for equal thrust. All movement, even rotation, has momentum when the dampeners are off.
Also, an option to turn the new "point and turn" flight control on or off. It's kind of jerky on small ships. Or maybe a larger amount of smoothing? shrug.
I just want the old flight mechanics back, I really don't like the new flight mechanics at all! Please make it a toggle Keen!
