Fuel based steam boilers + steam turbine generators.
Not Enough Votes
When conditions deny both wind and sunlight but provide an amply fuel source, steam generated power could be an option.
Boiling water into steam via a multi-fuel combustion chamber. be it gas, liquid or solid.
The water turbine generator that will be used with a dam could also be a steam turbine generator.(may be)
Fuel cells could replace and improve upon this with more tech progress.
Like I said in the other hydroelectric thread that popped up, I would be REALLY surprised if Keen went through all that trouble of giving us moving water and showcasing a dam only to leave out some kind of hydro-electric power source. That would be a huge missed opportunity. Because people could quite literally recreate the Hoover Dam or similar structures to power things.
