Looking at the build block rhythms being used in SE2. working to 2.5m block on 2.5m block appears to be redundant for internal architecture, the interior builds are far more varied. When it is desired to have a difference in wall colour along the same dividing panel, or colour differences between a ceiling and the flooring above that ceiling. The minimum thickness of that division is 0.5m made of two 2.5m2 x 0.25m panels sandwiched one against the other, or some equivalent block combo.

Taking this into account the new stairs fall short of reaching between this type of floor level division, as the gap is now 3m instead of 2.5m.

It is possible to add sloped pillars to bridge the 0.5m gap, but they would not be in keeping with the new stair styling.

A short 0.5m stair piece is needed that would align with the new stair styling or a 3m stair is required.
