Almost all interact-able objects should have customizable LCDs.

Almost all interactive objects should have LCD so that they can be customized with information.
eg:
- Doors should be able to have signs.
- Buttons should have built-in labels (like the sci-fi button panel of SE 1) rather than having to set up separate LCD instruction screens.
At this point I can't think of a single interactable object that wouldn't benefit from having an LCD panel.
