Alternative conveyor operation
Is it possible for a conveyor to carry all things?(Size limited)
If a conveyor operates like a vascular system then yes.
HOW.
The conveyors would be full of water as a carrying medium.
The direction of water flow is controlled by a pump.
The water medium would carry corpuscle like containers.
The containers would hold the transported goods, be it solid, liquid(other), or gas.
The containers would be emptied at a destination interface.
The empty containers are returned to a supply source for filling again.
Advantages :
All goods transported.
Ores, gases and liquids are managed.
Items do not interfere with each other.
Disadvantages:
Additional conveyors required.( Could be eliminated by flow reversal periods)
Directional conveyor network more vulnerable to disruption.
Questions:
Should the corpuscle containers run on SE magic?
Do the corpuscle containers need to be manufactured?
Should the number of corpuscle containers be limited?
If the conveyor is broken, will it leak?
Should the flow direction of a conveyor be reversible Y/N or it D?
