gravity generators should affect free floating grids other than its own

something that we didn't have in Space engineers 1 was artificial gravity generators affecting free floating blocks, and we have to use artificial gravity blocks in order to have a gravity drive. I think that gravity generators should affect grids other than the one it is placed on. or barring that, that we should have artificial gravity blocks in space engineers 2. I believe it would make for really interesting scenarios for ship launches and gravity drives.

I also would prefer a better solution as it was in SE1. This never felt very well there, especially when the generator generate outside of your ship gravity and that you need artificial mass blocks.

I kind of disagree because it seems good and intentional that you were able to change the area affected by a gravity generator based on what you needed it for

But you have way too less control over it. If you don' t want to have gravity outside of your ship you are very limited to where you can place the gravity generator inside your ship because it is always in the center and you need a lot more of them to create a "gravity shape" and they are not some small blocks you can easily insert into your ship design.
