Resistance slider/button for moving blocks to create suspension, springs, shocks etc
In current vanilla game, we are only limited to the wheel suspension blocks, to build suspension. If we want something more sophisticated, we need scripts paired with functional blocks. Since SE2 is built on a whole new physics engine, im sure we can do something about it.
If only piston retracted when pressure is applied, it would be perfect.
Imagine a large ship landing on the landing pad, and the landing gear softens down the landing.
Or an extra large wheeled grid, where large grid suspension travel is just not enough of clearance. We could build our own suspension by stacking few pistons.
Or a big cannon, placed on a piston that mitigates its kickback like in the tanks/artillery.
Or any other mechanism that requires spring-like element.
All of these ideas would require a piston, but same thing could apply for the rotors and hinges. Rotor could have rotational resistance, where we can wind it up and let it go (and it unwinds with the great speed).
The resistance force could be measured in newton meters (N) and be adjusted with a simple slider, like rest of the inputs do.
