Add a better way to input images/music/videos in SE2, including locally

Im not sure how feasible in VRAGE 3 this is as im not a programmer, but its really just something i'd like to see as most of my favorite games to play with friends has some sort of ability to take stream music, add in memes to the game world, or just listen to my own music in game.

For images: the current way that SE1 can import a quick image to game is with the image converter tool that translates an image into a lowres version converted into colored dots to put on an LCD. Id love a way to get an image into game/on server better and engine supported that will get an actual image file (png, jpeg) onto an LCD so the boys can put up banners in their bases or set up advertisements for their ships. The Image Convertor we use on server is probably the most used 3rd party tool, and id like to skip the middle man and just get an image in game,

As for video/audio: In the way that Garry's Mod, VRChat or modded Lethal Company can, where there is a system that will read a video link to stream the linked video/audio on a block like a LCD screen or perhaps a programmable block.

If anything, a better way to get music files into game loaded from a server where the server can read and play MP3s from a soundblock thats programmed via a set script that calls from a file on the server would be great as well. Right now the only way i know how to do it is by converting files into a custom xwm format and then making a mod for it- if we can just add our own music to a folder to be called from via an ingame music player would be awesome- ala how VTOLVR does where you can just dump all your mp3s into it and then access the music player.

This is great, but in the present climate in many countries the legal system, may have other views that would bring in monitoring at cost and put a burden on many server admins.

There is a lot of out of copyright and copyright free material out there including many books, recordings of songs, music scores for midi play and visual media.

You mention Garry's Mod, it has been in legal dispute for a while now.

I think that any media that is created in game should be OK.

It should be possible for an AI to decide if the media you wish to upload is OK.

The other thing is fair use, in the privilege of your own home, but sharing with a public has limits.

If a SE gameplay is posted on Youtube, with IP infringements, another minefield is opened up.

This is the world we live in, and the eyes, ears and AIs are pervasive.

Live without fear, but be responsible, things may change.
