Temperature, pressure, chemical and ionization environmental sensors.

Sensor for environmental detection.
It will read :-
Temperature
Pressure
Chemical - for immersed medium - air, water, gas, nothing
Ionization - radiation, x-rays, alpha, beta, gamma, cosmic rays
It needs to make the sensed values available to LCDs and logic blocks.
I could see how having sensors for such things. hazards or whatever would be nice to have.
"going to a planet that has no oxygen, having the Sensor, LCD, Speaker, let you know of these things. Temps, Oxygen, Gravity,"
I guess I'm saying id like it to be more of a "warning" system..
if we have radiation that damages us or maybe the ship. Have sensors that would trigger to let us know of unsafe conditions or something like that. Would be cool feature to see, if we have more PVE.

Warning systems are a good thing.
Event controllers could trigger alarms and lights, and a script for LCD displays alerting what precaution are necessary.
Danger - Hostile Atmosphere - Suit may fail.
or
Pressure Depth Beyond Safe Limits.
or
Warning Hydrogen Tank Temperature Critical.
Long range Sensors could assist in picking a good landing site, and local ship sensors used to confirm the readings on landing. Other people have suggested a 'tricorder' tool for the engineer to carry with them, though having a few sensors built into the suit is welcome.
