Engineer - Down but not out - Assisted medical recovery + Heal and Seal Tool

When an engineer looses all health, dies, then is cloned.

In other multiplayer games, there is a dying but not dead period where a team mate can offer medical assistance to recover some health to the downed engineer.

When dying the player is mostly immobile, some games offer a limp mode movement.

Dying has a time limit until death, but the player can opt not to wait.

This could be a good option for multiplayer in SE2, or even single player if a medical drone is available.

A heal and seal medical tool could exist to offer field recovery, but not to full health.

Something to consider, games like CoD, Rainbow 6, or similar games where you're more likely to encounter a mechanic like that were made with that in mind from the start. Also due to the nature of those games and what they're trying to do it makes more sense for them to have said mechanic, because let's face it, no one wants to die on a battlefield in reality or otherwise.

Far as SE goes, I don't see this on its own bringing much value to the game. If they're going to do it then it should come as one of the features of a ground combat revamp. Because let's face it, the ground combat can be rather sparse and lax for lack of a better word coming to mind. There is potential there but we're at the awkward stage where it exists and functions and can have its moments, but is otherwise limited enough that it's just kind... well there. It has the potential to be much better if it were fleshed out more, but right now is limited enough that it's in that "meh" state to me. While they could implement this as a thing, on its own I don't see a need for it with how SE is made. If they want to add it then cool, but for me it's something I can take or leave and I'm mostly indifferent about. If this were to become a thing, I would want to see it as part of a ground revamp, and not just this on its own.

From my initial proposal, I thought that a medical drone might be useful for new players in tutorial games. A drone that would be deployed, could fix you up and drag you a little ways while you were recovering, rather than the immediate teleport to re-clone.station.

In normal survival the drone would be available for construction once tool holding blocks have been progressed to.
