Custom block sizes for simpler blocks
I think it would be a really nice thing to be able to freely set all 3 sizes for simpler blocks such as armor blocks, maybe windows and catwalks (although I understand that those would be harder compared to the much simpler models of armor blocks), allowing the player to change a block's height, width and length from 0.25m to 2.5m in increments of 0.25m.
This would save a lot of PCU, by letting players easily create beams or planes with just a single block, a 0.25x2.5x2.5m plane of armor blocks costs as much as 100 PCU.
I understand that this would obviously necessitate extra UI (possibly in the form of the color picker/palette but sizes instead, size picker/palette?, still retaining 0.25, 0.5 and 2.5 sizes by default), and obviously the implementation of such dynamically resizable blocks.
This could result in a much better building experience, especially when trying to fit some more odd combinations (such as a corridor made out of interior walls and catwalks) and less wasteful allocation of PCU.
