Want larger paint palette and customize colors

I want a bigger paint palette. The current selection of colors is poor and doesn't allow you to customize colors (no purple, orange, or hot pink for instance). Ideally, I would like multiple color palettes you can switch between or give existing palettes more color slots (so I don't have to replace default colors).
I feel like having more slots for exiting palettes would be great. Commenting to bump thread.
i like having the defaults for general ideas of colors, and then having the ability to have the same amount for custom colors, maybe on a tab system like the G hotbar.
The current way is fine, just have a more options for custom colors or the ability to swipe left or right for another set of custom colors or something.
i hated in SE1, when default builds would be just a hair off from the default color, and would have to go WAY out of my way to color much the entire build. lol. With SE2 having so much customiztion in the way we build, i feel like this is going to be a must at some point with how detailed builds can be being unified now.

We can't be relying on pasting a blueprint with all the colors to paint like people have been doing so far.
Because not only adds to the PCU limit but also makes it so you have to keep flying back and forward taking away the attention from the ship, the canvas if you want to call it like that. It's obtrusive, unintuitive and a waste of time. We simply can't have none of that.

If Options Like Matte, Shiny and Emissive paint colours were added as well just like satisfactory it would greatly improve creativity

Also add the ability to create custom texture patterns from a palette of options as part of this too. Would be cool to create our own camo patters, hazard patterns, etc...
