0.25 Detaiuling Block Deletion

Could the Dev team make it so that when you wish to delete a block from a build you do not have to have a block in hand as with some colours and lighting the block in your hand can obscure the block you are trying to delete this is especially noticeable when trying to delete 0.25 detailing blocks. It would be ideal if you could use the on screen crosshair/cursor instead to highlight the block you wish to delete, and it is not really possible to use multiple block deletion on surfaces that are diagonal to you point of view without removing more blocks than you want especially in areas with multiple sizes of blocks already in place. I know this is trivial thing but it would make the experience when building much more pleasurable
