Hard to snap detail blueprint

Hi there,

I found it tough to almost impossible to have two blueprint tiles snapped together, if they only should snap to one detailing block.

Scenario: I created a girder like structure of detailed slopes along the x axis (1.25m wide) then up the z and y axis to also 1.25m. Thus creating some 45 degree tilted L shape. I want to stick these together in a way to create a structure, where the x axis becomes a straight line with equidistant beams extending up.

Problem is: The snapping point never is the end of the L shape, and I cannot figure out how to position that blueprint to snap to the previous.

It works if there are more then one block that have to connect, but how would I fine tune the positioning? Any idea? CTRL + Mousewheel does not do the trick, I would intuitively use arrow keys, but that does not seem to work?

By holding CTRL to use precision mode you can move the mouse to move it around on the plane you are placing it on

although allowing use of arrow keys in precision mode to offset it as well could be a nice enhancment

Aaah, got it. First need to define the attachment point, after that I can move and fine tune the part along to this. Cool, but needs a little practice. Still voting for the arrow keys ;)
