Add Gabions!

Y'know, the cages filled with pebbles and rocks!

Gabion blocks would have block integrity somewhere between light and heavy armour (somewhere on the upper end) but they would be heavier than heavy armour since they are literally a bunch of rocks.

Therefore there would be no reason to use them on ships. They would, however, be great for base building especially on planets, and fit well with the advanced industrial feeling of the game!

Their recipe could use gravel, giving a use for the resource that used to clog up people's inventories unless you wanted loads of reactors.

Perhaps if someone is trying to grind their way into your base, grinding the gabion cage could cause its stones to pour out, crushing the invader beneath a pile of rocks!

I really like the idea of cheaper but less mass-efficient armour types. Neat idea!

Excellent. Some non-metal building blocks would be great, and this is a better fit than piles and piles of concrete blocks.

This would be cool! You see these in military bases nowadays as well. Love that it's a use for gravel which is a resource that we all probably end up scrapping a bunch of.

Cement and concrete blocks and a "voxel hand" with concrete mix will do a similar service.

It would also be a good solution to the problem of waste stone from refineries - it could be processed into cement (mixed with other waste stone/stone rubble), concrete mix (for "voxel hand" tools) and "remelted stone" (stone bricks and shapes similar to basalt products or even opaque blocks similar to glass blocks)

I would say for the stones leak out that you need a hand drill, It takes a while to drill and it fills the inventory like you would with grinding blocks in SE1 would be better for server use then all those little stone entities that would lag the server
