QoL Grouping

Every time you play SE together with friends, there is this tedious moment where one has to jump in, make a faction and then the rest spawns. It also only provides starter equipment for one engineer only.
For a change, it would be great to allow players to group with each other in-game, or by let's say Steam or any other service and spawn in a pod together, supplied enough seats/supplies according to the amount joining in.
It would also be cool if you could select a side of a planet, instead of it being completely random.
