As the title says, Placing Rows or Planes of Blocks crashes my game. Even placing small planes like 10x10 will guarantee a crash. I know it's not hardware related deficiency, as I am running a RTX 5090 and AMD 9950X3D. This bug is more than persistent, and I can definitely re-create this bug upon request.
Game still crashing when placing blocks in a plane/grid
Solved
I reported this issue a while ago but never received a solution. I've noticed other users also reporting this problem.
When I hold shift to place blocks in a grid (like a 10x10) the game crashes every time. I can easily reproduce this issue on demand.
Crash report attached of the most recent bug. Opening this as a new topic since some previous patches claim to fix this and a new bug report from the latest version might provide some insight.

Same thing is happening to me since the beginning of this game and still no fix. I also have a brand new setup which is pretty powerful and this happens 100% of the time I place planes.

Hello Diggrok,
According to the logs you've provided, the issue lays in your GPU, namely it became unresponsive and the graphics driver reset the device - a process often called TDR (Timeout Detection and Recovery) which results in the Game crashing.
What I would suggest is:
Let me know if this helps.

Ha! Brilliant. Updating the GPU driver seemed to fix it. I just made 20 HUGE planes with no issues.
I can't believe this whole time that's all it's been, I knew it had to be a local issue. Literally ever since I got my PC for this game I've been building planes one row at a time and all my buddies thought I was making it up 😅
Thanks for the quick help! I figured you're a little less inundated with bug reports than you were 4 months ago.
