Here‘s a suggestion for SE2, SE1 probably couldn‘t handle it.
Explosions affecting voxels should drop the respective voxel materials just as if you had drilled it with the Hand Drill. The materials then could be collected via collector and gravity generator or another dedicated block.
In comparison to the traditional way of mining this would be faster but it wouldn‘t replace drilling because you burn some resources in the process by using explosive ammo or warheads. Additionally explosive mining itself would be less resource efficient because of the voxels partially being completely destroyed without materials dropping.

Excitement is good but I would be afraid to blow up the drills in a gas pocket. Unless there was a way to detect and mitigate explosions.
