Copy Partial and Paste precision mode rework

The controls in Copy Partial are not intuitive.

Setting the starting block with LMB works.

If the starting block is not visible you need some transparency/wireframe mode.

Setting an ending block would be logical.

Add adjustment(nudge) XYZ to start and/or end block if necessary.

When pasting in precision mode the mouse can not accurately placed for XYZ onto another grid unless the surface location of the grid being pasted on to is proud and under the centre of placement. The precision key controls only rotate. When pasting a large grid and the grid is larger than the field of view, pasting accurately is near impossible. There is no zoom in this mode.

There needs to be some consistency between the two operations.

I suggest, like the precision copy, a bounding area is set over the area of paste, which is then able to be precision adjusted, with the player being to adjust their view without moving the paste placement so that they can ensure accurate positioning.

Another thought:

Tractor beam merge mode when pasting.

1. Paste in copied grid separately from the grid that you wish to merge with.

2. Mark a block on each grid that you wish to use as locators.

3. Watch the grids pull themselves together, matching the locators and merging the grids into one.

Not sure at the first one, because you can literally use any block as start and extend from there in any direction. So I don't see here why you couldn't see that starting block, such situations do not exist? Or maybe I understood something wrong here? Also after using it several times I think it is intuitive. It is others as other control mechanisms of other tools but I think you can get used to it quite fast.

But I totally agree on the rest of the post. Placing it is a lot of trial and error until it is in the right place. Maybe they copied part shouldn't be centered, maybe it should focus on the starting block, so that block will then also be the block which you use for placing.
