Ability to 'sort by most recently placed' in the inventory listing
Not Enough Votes
When viewing the block list of a grid (hitting 'I' or going to a control panel on a ship), I would like to see a sorting function. One of the more important additions would be a 'sort by most recently placed', which should provide a list of blocks that were 'recently placed' (possibly a setting as to how far back that list can go), or possibly a full list based on placement age if such things are trackable without too much metadata.
If I'm working on a ship that has 100 interior lights, and I want the one I just placed in a hall to be a specific color. Good luck finding it in the list of 100 since the lights (and some other blocks) don't have a control panel I can walk up to and select that specific light.

It would be cool if the automatic block naming was customisable and the numbering had no duplicates.

This would be extremely helpful for keeping things organized. Right now I have to run to a control panel and rename each light as I place it or it turns into a mess trying to get them set up. I'm sure there are refinements coming, but this would be a big improvement no matter what else is in the pipeline.
