Block Culling for .25m and .5m Blocks

Even though it is possible to make litteraly any type of block i can imagine for the 2.5m using the .25m and .5m blocks. they there the same 1 pcu as a fullsize 2.5m block.

the issue im having is that it is very expensive to make a custom 2.5 m block out of the .25m, is there any way to reduce or eliminate the pcu cost of blocks that are completely covered, or have it turn into a solid 1 pcu block? the level of detail possible is insane and im building a 800 m carrier and just the pcu on the metal frame alone is getting out of control because im using so many .5 and .25m blocks and custom shaped 2.5m blueprints thank you for the consideration

Personally like the idea of some kind of PCU culling system to reduce the load from all the customization now available. However, as a stop gap I found it beneficial to make "hollow" 25cm block variants. Much lower PCU. Probably not feasible long term but it's allowed me to build with less PCU concern for now.

good point and i revised my design of the chamferd edge block using mor .5 m blocks reducing cpu from 235 to 58 lol.... but im using them fairly often and i used a bunch of .5 and .25 m blocks to correct alignment issues on my carrier lol DOH
