Vallation Station - Ice in O2/H2 generators sucked DRY when docking to Vallation Station

After filling both O2/H2 generators in the Aquila with ice (16 tons!) I dock at Vallation station. When look at Ice in Inventory I see it rapidly depleting. My H2 tanks do NOT get drained. Undocking from the station stoped the drain (but I ended up with only a few hundred KG left).
Possible contributing factor: I'm also going to report a bug in the physics engine when a small craft (fully powered off) was docked to the Aquila at the time. But I was docked to Vallation Station and simply undocking stopped the drain.

Further update:
After mining more ice I turned off my O2/H2 generators before docking at Vallation Station. I ensured that H2 tanks were all at 100%. I placed 400kg of ice in one generator then docked at Vallation Station. All 400kg of ice remained. I turned on the generators and all 400kg of ice was depleted in about 10 seconds. (I had all other ice in my inventory to prevent pulling from ship's cargo).
