Known Issues

I know you guys have a known issues list for your internal purposes. But would it make sense to have a pinned “known issues” list at the top of the public boards as well to prevent duplication.

I’m thinking of poor Bartosz here as he must be driven mad sometimes.

Maybe the list could have links to the discussions already here so that people could add their own experiences and feedback?

Just a suggestion 😄

im always trying to scan through new posts and point them in the direction of a post i know exists already. gotta wonder how much it would take this early on though.. that list probably grows by 10+ daily, and then they have to be organized into priority and when they fit into the current developmental cycle.

"ahh here another physics issue, lets just add that to the list that will only be addressed after water is added."

would be nice for us trying to keep up in the different ways we play or try to target helping more specifically.

I get where you’re coming from. I just regularly see duplication on here. I think it’s quite accepted practice for boards to have a “Have you checked the know issues list before you make a new post” prompt.

For me as a user, I’m particularly interested in reporting bugs as I see them and right now, there are so many, I haven’t got the time to search for everything. If it’s been reported and there’s already a focused thread, I will add my findings to help track things down.

Internally, we know Keen has this information. Right now I don’t know what is already resolved internally or what requires additional investigation. I think it would be a win-win and help mobilise and motivate active testers during this alpha phase.

hopefully adding this conversation will help the already planned forum changes when they get implemented.

*thumbs up*
