I parked my captured dropship at the Vallis Reach Manufacturing Facility.

I went off to Palatine Station and started the mission to 'Deliver Advanced Components'.

I went back to Vallis Reach to use the Manufacturing Facility and found that it had been cleaned up and my dropship was in a hole in the ground at the foot of the cliff.

So, what happened? What triggered the clean up of that particular location? The Excavation site beacon was still there. The manufacturing station built for a Vallation Station contract was still there.

So, was this intentional or was this a wierd bug?

you "captured" but did not take OWNERSHIP. when the contract involving the ship was completed/abandoned that ship no longer needed to exist. leaving whatever the distance for the cleaner to do its job... *waves bye bye to ship thats not mine.*

want to keep ship, blueprint it, and build your own. grinding down bits as you rebuild it next to where you park it.

also, that ship IS a nice ship, i modified my own version of it for utility work.

Mostly, I was surprised to find myself , just in my suit, on a landing platform as a result of fast travel.

Perhaps post a message that the Colonization Authority had reclaimed some stolen/misappropriated property?

I'd like to rebuild the ship, but (at the time on stealing it) several critical blocks have yet to be unlocked. Still I did take a blueprint.
