Why does the block SIZE button change the freaking block TYPE?

It doesnt look like a bug but surely cant be intentional, right? At least the armor cube changes size, then changes block type as you click "r".
I like this feedback
Afaik, i noticed that in the G construction menu, you will find initial items of categories (not all of them) often having a "+" icon in the item.
Those are the objects that switch between block type when you hit R. (i sometimes prefer using those, because i can use one single key-map, for a lot of related object, especially with logistics, i.e.)
In the G construction menu, you can also find directly every single version of that object (without the +).
In that case, R will only switch size (which isn't available for everything, btw).
When you click a block in the G menu, in the top right details, you should see an icon for any of the switchable objects, if any.
---
So i would suggest to directly map the single object on your key-map, instead of the "multi-block" version with the +, if you want to avoid block type switch with R. You should be able to avoid that easily.
On the other hand is a great shortcut to avoid key-map clutter! Sometimes can be worth it when you start running out of slots!

it is frustrating imo, maybe keybinds to swap between type and size specifically would be nice
