Vallis Reach and the Barn trade station should both have wind turbines

Nothing like docking at Vallis Reach and discover (too late) that the station is draining my ship's batteries to power its systems, which got worse the moment the sun went down. I didn't notice in time so now my ship is out of power and waiting for the next day for trickle feed solar on my ship to slowly recover. I would suggest (as the title) that any trade outpost on planets with atmospheres should have enough wind turbine power to 100% power the station with maybe a little left over to help docked ships (or sell ship power at the trade console).

Stations shouldn't drain my batteries, haha.

i mean... yes... but... if its just a stepping stone to a new location, you shouldnt be hanging around long enough to need to connect for any sustained amount of time...

learning about controlling battery flow through connections could be a good point of use of a base like this.

Yes and no on the hanging around for a long time, in this case it was a remote station on Verdure and I was low on energy/fuel after the trip. I parked at the connector (to leech a charge and my ship doesn't have landing gear only a connector) while I went to explore the immediate area around the station. Came back and my ice was all gone out of my cargo and the batteries were dead. If I'd had wheels on that ship I'd think it would have been up on cinder blocks. What is this planet coming to?

(Or was I fined for having ice and power without a license)

It's like you pull into an EV charging station to top off with your new electric car and the EV station sucks the rest of your battery power out! :)

Yeah, definitely shouldn't drain power like that.

But that gave me idea, new mission: supply power,

Recharge outpost batteries by donating x amount of MWh

I like the idea for the mission, with the swappable power blocks, would it be 'dock and charge them up' or bring a dozen fully changed power modules and slap them into the empty 'battery' blocks at the base? Could be either!

If you plan to make an NPC station steal your ice and power when you dock, at least call it something like "non profit" so the user is aware before docking.

Well, the main thing is that a few wind turbines on planetary stations to at least cover the power use of said station would prevent that. Solar is fine, but it only works half the time.

When I dock I've started to flip my batteries over to charge only so I end up draining the station instead.
