The gatling guns look silly
I don't like how wide the barrel assemblies are, I don't like how many barrels they have, and the barrel shrouds/barrel clamps/barrel assembly housings look a bit weird.
They look like toys; or like something from a more futuristic cartoon-aesthetic game like Robocraft or Overwatch.
The barrel assembly width on the turret isn't so bad, but the fixed guns look more like sausages than threatening weapons when stacked next to one another.
I don't know why the barrel shrouds look weird. It may just be the extra space between the barrels due to the high number of barrels.
I'd be okay with the look if it was somewhat justified by "realism", but I think the opposite is true. Namely, the barrels do not match the rate of fire. The rate of fire suggested by eight barrels is higher than the actual rate of fire (game projectiles fired per second), the perceived rate of fire (in-game effectiveness, visuals, sound), and the rate of fire of a real-life equivalent.
I think a good real-life equivalent to compare to is the GAU-12/U, which has 5 barrels.
To reiterate: my problem with the models isn't that they're unrealistic; it's that they're not aesthetically pleasing. It's just that usually, I hope for things to be a balance between believability and quality, where believability can be sacrificed for the sake of quality; but here, it was sacrificed for nothing.

Weapons with a rotating barrel assembly are actually quite slim
Vulcan M61A1 20mm ("external drive" electric/hydraulic motor )
GSh-6-30 / 9A621 30mm ("internal drive" - gas actuated)
wide is the mounting in the gun mount and, mainly, the ammunition feed, the feed must not have any “sharp turns”.
This is clearly evident in the Phalanx system, where the ammunition magazine is mounted on the same mounting as the weapon itself so as not to alter the ammunition feed geometry.
