Hi i played now with the the 2.2 update some time in survival sry for my not perfect englisch iam no native englisch speaker^^

Here iss what i think first the game makes huge fun but i have some points that i would be edit

1.in my opinion first timer user experience iss ok but it is in my opinion to castrating me from do what i will i need the second sector to start build some small big ship second please give us later the ability to overtake some of the miners and stuff .

2. i was buliding a small ship i found some annyoing stuff example i need 2 space away from a connector or a engine to build and cockpit too would be cooler ive we can build araound a engine specialy on the end before the thruster exit comes and connercor on the sides i was not able to build a conveyor on the side of a connector . the rest i find iss really good i love it and cant wait^^

3. i want to make a suggestion i was seeing the devblog with the npcs i laove that we can eventually get crew ^^ but we need some pets too in the wolrd someone on steam was meantoning that the devs have sayed there are not want pets i hope that iss not the case we need them in the wolrd to make it more alive like in empyrion. and please give us automation and stuff that we can have a fleet later ^^

Thanks for the feedback and your English is absolutely fine, no worries.

On your first point: the early progression pacing and how quickly players are given freedom vs. guidance is something we’re actively reviewing. The goal is to make sure players don’t feel restricted, while still having a clear path to unlocking larger builds, automation, and advanced systems.

On building restrictions (spacing around blocks like connectors, thrusters, and conveyors): this is also useful feedback. We understand the frustration when placement rules feel like they limit creativity rather than support it, and we’re continuously iterating on block interaction and building flexibility.

On NPCs, crew, and pets: NPC systems and automation are definitely part of our longer-term direction. The goal is to make worlds feel more alive and support larger-scale operations like fleets and logistics. Pets specifically are not currently part of the plan, but the broader idea of livelier worlds is something we agree with.

Appreciate you taking the time to play and share this.
