Colony arrivals debriefing and Mission to rescue Callipso Survivors
Not Enough Votes
It seems a little odd on arriving for the first time at Vallation Station that there is no verification of who Miro is.
Miro should be asked to give his name, ship name and the status his vessel.
He would then become a registered colony arrival and go through basic orientation.
He should ask for assistance in rescuing his brother Ivan and the remaining colonists in cryo.
Any difficulties in launching a rescue mission immediately should be explained to Miro.
Anything less than this would suggest that the Colony Authority AI is either a basic AI or is hiding something.
If the Colony authority AI is a bridging character for the alpha version then fair enough.

I like this feedback
Yes, at the moment efforts to help the colonists are sorely lacking. It seems Keen wanted to lead the alpha testers around on some generic missions to help testing the game. Serious story line development will hopefully come later.

As I've commented in similar feedback, I think it's essential that at some point during the verdure sector missions you either:
a) get a message from Ivan that a 'strange' ship has boarded the Calypso and is kidnapping all the cryo people (and Ivan). This pushes their plight to a later mystery, vs the immediate 'we need to save the people on the ship' which is extremely weird that we simply go off and explore the system and doing colonization missions apparently completely forgetting everyone on the ship. Or...
b) we have a series of missions where we finally find the ship and have to go through a series of repair the ship/rescue the colonists missions before embarking on deeper colonization and exploration. Perhaps the previously popsicle people are put places from prior personal pursuits, such as missions or construction.

And as an aside, this ties into my feedback on the voting system. I can think of a number of similar feedback like this on the intro, my own from 4 months ago had 30 votes but it's been archived and lost to the ether so that new feedback like this appear and then struggle because people remember voting for the same thing or suggesting the same thing perhaps a dozen times. Should be a way to merge these and archiving should not be permanent exile of feedback.

Been through the intro a couple more times with new updates and this general feedback about the start feels more relevant than ever. Each time there is a restart, it feels more like these things need to come into consideration.
