Game causes graphics card drivers to crash

Without warning, the game crashes my graphics card driver.


The latest driver is installed. I can restart the game and continue playing afterward, but it's annoying when it happens frequently.


Sometimes I can play for hours without any problems.


Attached are the logs and a minidump.

Files: SpaceEngineers2... SpaceEngineers2... SpaceEngineers2... SpaceEngineers2... CrashReport_251...

Hello Tino Claassen,


We have issues a fix for AMD hardware at the end of December that should solve your issue. Could you please confirm that is the case?

I still had the problem even after your fix. Several times. That's why I haven't touched the game since December 19, 2025.

And the same problem persists in VS 2.2.


Your graphics crash fixes aren't working. The crash dump and log are attached. Please finally address this.

I have reported this issue and attached this thread to our internal ticket (SE2-32000). However, could you also please provide the "Render12.log" file?

Additionally, could you please provide your PCs full specification?

Hello Tino Claassen,


Thank you for proving the Render log. Have you tried installing the latest driver for your GPU? https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads/drivers.html/graphics/radeon-rx/radeon-rx-6000-series/amd-radeon-rx-6950-xt.html - Latest are the Adrenaline 26.3.1 version.

Additionally, could you please provide specific reproduction steps for this crash to occur?

So, I've installed the driver now. But not at the time of the crash.


Reconstructing the crash... Well, there's nothing specific I'm doing when it happens. It just happens out of nowhere.


I can test again with the new driver. But unfortunately, not for another day or two.
