Lets Talk LCD Apps!
The old apps in Space Engineers are, for lack of a better word, minimal. I'd like to recommend some real helpful applications SE2 really needs to consider implementing on your LCD Screens, especially now!
Flight HUD. Don't you know FAA has a minimum required HUD? A single app that could encompass:
- Airspeed.
- Altitude.
- Heading.
- Horizon line
Radar Please! Situational Awareness should be first and foremost on every engineer's mind when flying.
Inventory Display, A simple app for displaying the contents of a particular container.
Ship / Tool Inventory: A simple progress bar indicating the vessel's total inventory vs it's capacity.
Block Status Displays: A quick glance at a screen to see a variety of selected blocks, especially useful for viewing the status of a list of turrets, or the condition of a system, or the fill status of a tank or cargo container.
I like this feedback
Commenting to bump thread.
I think having more LCD apps, and maybe including all of the things like Automatic LCD Script MOD did.
Obviously having this intagrated way better, so that we can set up LCD screen and such to provide us with Total info of Ships/grids/connections.
Even stuff like Status of blocks.
Is that door open, is it "missing" is it powered. does it have oxygen.
I think it would be somewhat easy to add, and would be great addition to LCD and HUD, or Limited HUD unless in a Cockpit/seat

An idea to throw in the mix. Why not have the LCD screen support SVG? It'd be an easy way to make fancy displays without having to have scripts generate fancy visuals pixel by pixel for a wide range of configurations.

I want to suggest one more improvement. There is a possibility to print static texts on LCDs in SE1. Why not upgrade it to dynamic templates instead?
For example you can type something like "Oxygen: {{oxygenValue}} / {{totalOxygenValue}}"
On a display you'll see "Oxygen: 1234567L / 15000000L"
There may be other keywords for energy, H2, velocity, gravity, block availability etc. There can be separate keywords for percentage values or displaying progress bars.
The game can analyze what keywords are used in the template text and only update it if the value changes (for better performance)
It's an easy solution for creating less fancy but a very flexible custom apps withing the game.

App caught my attention, and I think this is a very helpful article for anyone who wants to learn more about the application before trying it. I liked the straightforward explanation and the way the main points are presented in a simple manner. I was recently researching the Xuper TV APK link https://xupertvpc.com/ and wanted to understand more about its general features and user experience. After spending some time exploring it, I found the interface relatively easy to follow. I always appreciate articles that provide useful details instead of making exaggerated claims. This post helped me get a better overview and answered several questions I had.

app looks worth checking out after reading your detailed explanation. I really liked how you presented the information about Freecine APK without making the article difficult to follow. The points you mentioned helped me understand why people might be interested in using this type of entertainment application. I also appreciate articles that focus on the actual user experience because that is usually what matters most when choosing an app. After reading your post, I feel more familiar with Freecine APK link https://freecine.com.br/ and what it is intended to provide. This was a helpful article, especially for someone who is learning about the app for the first time.
