Separate autosaves from hard saves

I'd really like for the game's autosaves to go into a separate slot from the hard saves. Autosaves always seem to happen at the worst possible times, and it feels like a punishment more than a feature.
Can we get a separate series autosave thread like they do in Factorio? (autosave_1, autosave_2, autosave_3, and then they overwrite starting with 1).

I was about to post this when it came up as already posted on the forum.
Manual Saves have to be set in a separate folder from Autosaves.
Many times we save a game manually because we are about to test something. It is not like we have a simulator therefore the game is the simulator to see if it works. You are about to die and BAMMMMM, it AutoSaves and writes over your manual save point.
I believe you have multiple threads for each save on SE1. We need that or just simply give us a separate folder for manual and autosaves.
