For SE 2, can we please get proper Linux Support / Testing (still can't copy past in SE1 after five years [so no laser comms]). And with it, SteamVR!

Flying a ship through tight canyons/caves using VR would EPIC!

Pleeeeeeease!

Keen needs to make sure they don't block Linux compatibility out by programming past the point of cross-compatibility. Idk if that really works like that I've just seen a bad habit that some devs have of stacking code on top of code and to me that looks like a clear path towards proprietary software. Keen if you see this please note as windows becomes more invasive, say the talks of ads being placed in the settings menu and Information collection for AI models, I as well as many others are considering moving to Linux to escape the intrusive and invasive nature of windows. Please keen consider allowing Linux users to join in dev testing and not treat them as if their vote doesn't count. If its to be believed that this game is to sell over a million copies there needs to be accommodations made for all players not binding them by operating system. Just to add, look at steamOS and what Valve is trying to do with the "Gabe Cube" it might make this issue seem a lot more relevant.

Can confirm, not being able to copy-paste more than once per session in SE1 is quite limiting. There is otherwise a DBProton web page with advice on running SE2 on Linux. And to agree with Tristam, windows is increasingly TOXIC.
