A set collection point for recently manufactured components.

When components have been made can they be forwarded to a collection point.

I am a bit tired of trawling through the inventories or typing in a search term to find items that I have recently ordered to be made. Instead of those items waiting in their respective output sections, can the outputs of those production machines be sent to a collection point where I can pick them up without having to go looking each time.

When I am welding up a ship with a small inventory for my backpack, going back and forth to collect items is one thing, having to search each time for the items that I recently requested be built is........

I've upvoted a bunch of your ideas, you have good quality of life ideas that I've occasionally thought about while playing but forgot to make a ticket on by the time I am done playing.

Click TAB, click production, click production machine, click component, click slider quantity, click inventory, click grid select, click off grid select, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll back, scroll back a bit more, click item drag, try again, try again, try again, finally, drop item in character inventory, wait, oh it appeared, fly back to grid, weld nothing, move nearer, weld nothing, move a fraction back, weld ah it works, weld again stopped, try a different part of the block to weld, no weld, try the back of the block to weld, ah it works, finished welding block, next block, next block, back for more parts, did not hear power warning because I turned the sound down last time I went near the production blocks, died, respawn, collect bits from backpack, go back to production blocks, turn sound up a little, press 'f' to open inventory menu on container, wait, wait, wait, scroll, scroll, scroll, scroll and so on forever............

Could this all flow a little easier please.

If I use the search box, type in 'plate' I will get a number of containers with different types of plate, some will not have enough quantity, some will have the other kind of plate, I scroll down to the bottom of the list and find smelter beginning with letter S after all of the other containers that start with letter C. I should really rename the smelter to Asmelter to see if that will bring it to the top of the list.
