Drilling radius - small drill - please increase a fraction

I have a tier2 hydrogen thruster between two small drills.
Small pieces of voxel are getting left behind blocking the progress of my drilling.
A small increase in the drilling radius would make all the difference between fun and dull.

I often use a quad drilling arrangement with a drill in each corner. In between the drills i will have thrusters and spotlights and a cockpit in the middle. This configuration allows for controlled drilling with a good view of the ore deposit. As there are no micro sized drills, there is a need to improve the drilling radius.
