Engineering - Lost Asteroid Base Spontaneous Contract Failure?

I have attempted to do this contract over several playsessions since VS2 release.

I believe the failure is caused by essensial objects falling away from the area, as the base is inside Verdure's gravity well. I will share a video from start of contract to failure and short investigation of the area

I have the exact same issue. Asteroid is just barely in the gravity well, cargo falls out of the base on its own, leading to spontaneous failure and softlock on progression.

UPDATE: I am yet to complete the contract, but I believe the contract fails if the debris gets broken when they hit the planet. This is honesty kinda dumb as the only task involving them is to literally just move them away from the base

I was looking for a post talking about this before making one as I am having the same issues as well. I might try and see if I can build a structure to keep the cargo from falling, wherever it spawns. Just hope it doesn't disappear when starting the contract.

Update: A solution I found is starting a new survival game and doing everything all over. Building a net doesn't work cause the game told me it removed the blocks I built right after starting the contract

A something little interesting I noticed is the asteroid base in my new survival world is just a few km closer to the space station than my previous survival world. I guess not all places with objectives spawn in the same exact coordinates in space every time you make a new survival world.
