Mission objective will not complete

In the mission on the planet that asks you to repair the cargo container, smelter, and assembler, the step after says to create 12 heavy plates and place them in your inventory. After doing this, I get a quick popup that I completed it, but the objective will not clear and I can't move on from here.

Workaround is apparently to use them to repair the batteries in the base which will progress the quest

The bug is that it does not properly display the repair batteries objective. I experienced it as well, just a bit of deductive reasoning to get through it.

There's a missing prompt that should tell you to construct 8 wire. If you do that and place both the wire and heavy plates in your inventory, it will progress to the next contract step.

i finished the colonization of the 2 sectors and got the marker "build the ship" from the first mission that do not disappeared.
