Please bring back scrolling through block types

Hi there, I would love to see a change back to SE 1 controls when it comes down to the scrollwheel.
having to press R to change the blocktype feels awful the scroll wheel for that feels so much better and being able to go back and forward is just way better than having to cicle between every block in the group if you mis the one you want.

+1 for this - I find no utility in scrolling through the hotbar; as we already have number keys for that, which also allow us to select a specific item. Having block types bound to a single key means having to cycle back through the entire group if we overshoot, as stated here, which is a regression from SE1. I don't see why this was changed.
Edit: I didn't want to mention this before as it strikes as me just being stubborn and refusing to adapt, but maybe we should aim for control parity with SE1 where it doesn't present any issues. This is one such case.

Chiming in here that I would also like to be able to use the scroll wheel to change the block variant. I would like for SHIFT + ScrollWheel or something to change the size. That would be perfect for me... or at least open up the keybinds to allow that kind of customization.
