I tried to submit this a minute ago, but It seemed to not work. Anyway, I have a crash to desktop on objective 7 when flying to Vallation station. It crashes to destktop 10km away, and brings up a cmd window where it writes a process failure dump file.

when i get about 10.30km from the Vallation station my game crash I've tried going slower and changing graphics settings.

Hi and first of all amazing game. However on first mission when you are leaving planet i crash exactly 10k from checkpoint.

I am running game on extreme settings and have tried lowering to other lower settings but i get same crash. I have even tried turning camera towards planet rather then space station but still the same.

PC spec:

i7 11700k

32GB DDR4 2400 RAM

1TB NvME SSD where game is running from

3060ti Nvidia RTX graphics

Hello,

In the new survival update, my game crashes everytime i try to fly to vallation station, it consistanly crashes around 10,31Km away from the station, and it does so no matter what game settings i have, otherwise the game runs okay, it still stutters abit. It only crashes when trying to fly to the station.

I have also tried verifying the game files

Update, I left the planet at a different direction, and slowly approached the station while in space. At the ~10km mark, it froze for a second, but the green Vallation station antenna marker appeared, and I was able to continue on without the crash. In my original message I was approaching the station at around 600mph, so I dont know if the speed or the fact I was still in the atmosphere caused the crash. At least I can continue on now.

As soon as you fly your spaceship towards "Vakkation station" and approach the station at 10.30 km, the game crashes.

I suffered the same thing, but I was in space, claimed my base and returned to the crash site, where I encountered this bug, again I was at a high speed when getting close. Please see logs for more information.

Currently running on Nobara linux 43 all is running fine, with the exception of the crash.

Hello Wing,

When exactly does the crash occurs for you? Is it while you are flying from the Planet during the Tutorial or at some other point during gameplay?

Within 15k of the space station during the tutorial.

I've tried the "fly out of the atmosphere at a different angle and then approach slowly" fix that worked for some. It did not for me.

Same problem. It gives me a miniCrashDump and crashes to desktop as I get into space during the tutorial with the station in site.

Hello Engineers,

The crash you've encountered was caused by issue with Vallation Station spawn, which should happen at ~ 10km from the Character. We have reported this issue and I have added this thread to our internal ticket (SE2-29083).

Cheers. Tell em to get on it cos its a pretty major issue that I imagine anyone following the tutorial and having the issue will be getting very frustrated. Its a pretty bad look for Keen too.

I get the same issue. cmd comes up with this error. Tried 3 to 4 times to reach the station. My inventory is empty, ships at maybe 3/4 full. hydro ice is full when i left.

I'm pretty sure its 26288 but could be 26298

Viewed the video i made a little closer and another line pops up quickly.

Then theres another line but hard to see as it only lasts for like a frame.

then i cant really see the rest. code 0 or code 8

with something like (0x00000000) i cant tell from 0 to 8
