Holographic block that treats a blueprint like a vehicle.

I was talking with "Mr Business" on the Discord server, and they mentioned that it would be nice to be able to test the blueprints before making them. I thought it would be interesting to have a block that treated the blueprint like a vehicle you could pilot remotely, without any of the functions of the vehicle, like connectors. So you could just *drive* the vehicle, and it would have the mass, center of gravity, and so on factored in during the test. Is that possible?

The principle notion is fascinating.

If range limited or similar, to avoid issues.

This comment is to act as reinforcement of interest in concept.

What is also interesting is the fact that projecting blocks in SE2 is done by the suit's visor instead of using a projector block. So nobody else should see the projections unless somehow allowed. This means that the "test ship" should also not be visible to anyone else.

This projector could also be the thing emitting the projection here. There's no reason for it not to be, I think

An update to this, given a recent conversation in the Discord: To expand on the idea of the connectors and cargo; they would be there, but be useless. The problem of the player being inside the hologram is removed if the hologram can only be remote controlled. There could be a visible range limit on the boundaries of the projected area. Maybe that can grow with the size of the projecter? The idea is to see if the blueprint is viable as a vehicle.
