Drilling leaving small pieces in the air, that destroy thrusters

Not a Bug

I built a core drilling miner. So to use it I use the hand drill to clear the top layer off. For spne reason little pieces of the rock ate left floating in the air. When I drop my core drill miner into the hole, it passes them going into the hole, but coming back up it hits these small rocks and destroys the thruster.
