New Controller UI

Almost everyone can agree that the radial UI that controller players use is...in the kindest way possible...trash. It's cluttered, hard to navigate, poorly optimized, and did I mention cluttered?

This is why I propose that Space Engineers Console Edition adopts a new form of UI inspired by the likes of Minecraft--something tried and true. I get that the name of the game is Space Engineers, yet it's still possible to over-engineer something (such as the radial UI).

Adopting a new user interface to navigate the ever-expanding inventory of blocks this game has to offer will have to happen eventually. Nobody wants to cycle through menu after menu just to find a small conveyor block. To fix this, an idea would be to transfer a UI much like the current one for keyboard and mouse. Use RB/LB to cycle through blocks on your hot bar and give players a cursor when navigating the block menu. This would also make future updates easier because there's now only one UI system to work with.

It's only a matter of time until there's so many blocks in the game (both modded and vanilla) that the radial system is simply unplayable. It becomes more of a hassle to navigate and find blocks with each update. What better time to update the console UI than now?
