I strongly second that. Can't play without for a long time, it's really a must have and it should greatly ease the life of beginers.
(and BTW Easy Inventory seems to work with the beta, if needed be ^^ )

We're big fans of this mod. However, we currently don't have any plans to add it to Space Engineers.
However, we may reexamine this idea in the future when it comes to new projects.
