Hydrogen engine wrong remaing time

I made a small rover with just an hydrogen engine to power it (i used a battery only to start it then i removed it), and the gui indicator on the right says that the power will last 150+ years on idle, and 4 years while moving, but by moving for some minutes i already burned half the fuel so the indicator is wrong.
