Factions don't exist

The NPC factions simply don't exist, except for Pirates and Spiders. They aren't even listed as Undiscovered, or unknown, they just don't exist. And I can't find the NPC Stations either. I don't know if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong, but I have the blocks and consumables, just not the factions.

Yep just fixed it, had to create a new world.

Thanks for the report.
isn't it possible that in the first world wasn't Economy enabled? There is a check-box in custom game and in Dedicated server manager. By default this option is enabled only in Star System scenario and must be manually enabled for the rest.
I tried to reproduce the issue, without success though. If it can happen even with economy enabled, it would help to have some additional info.
