Controller Constantly goes up, does not respond otherwise

Solved

I have tested the new build with both my Steam Controller and my PS3 controller, neither one will have any response in game, and the cursor will scroll up to the top button.

I have not been able to determine if this is an issue with Steam Controller and PS3 specifically, or if it's related to other programs or peripherals being plugged in.

I was trying with XBOX ONE Controller, sadly i cant not play at all now, The controller support update was why re-downloaded the game. Hopefully the fix before beta ends.

I connected my Xbox one controller. Went into option to choose controller selection. Soon as I click on controller (Xbox 360 for Windows) cursor starts just going up and no control with controller at all.

Yes, that is exactly same thing happened to me with my controller.

Just found answer on another forum:

"It was an issue with Steam. When I went into the Space Engineers Properties page on Steam and change the "Steam Input per-game setting" to 'Forced Off' it resolved the issue. "

Oh cool, I will check that out now and see if that works. Cause my other mates play the game and been like mouse keyboard all the way. I’m so use to gamepad even when I joined the pc race lol
