Under Consideration

To keep it short, let the Player:

  • find a ship
  • repair that ship
  • return it to the Station

There are even possibilities to add some challenge:

  • wreck is surrounded by some pirates -> player must fight them
  • on return a pirate attack will happen -> action, woohooo

Payment could partly depend on the state of the ship (no damage -> bonus credits&reputation)

Amazing idea! Same could apply to hauling, let there be a chance of pirates attacking you.
